Our Ministry

Based in Talisay, Batangas, Philippines, 222 CMN was founded in 2016 as an intensive church planting training program held twice a year. Our mission is to equip church planters with the tools to start biblical, reproducing churches, especially in unreached areas.

We are committed to our vision, 222X2033—to become a global family of 222 mentors of church planters by the year 2033.

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

The name “222” comes from 2 Timothy 2:2. During His earthly ministry, Jesus taught His twelve disciples so that they could teach others. In the same way, it is our desire that every graduate of our program will go and do likewise.

The Training

The 222 Church Planting School (CPS) is nestled at the foot of Tagaytay, in the beautiful town of Talisay, Batangas. The training center overlooks the world-famous Taal Volcano—the smallest active volcano in the world.

At 222 CPS, we provide an intensive, hands-on training program for church planters, guided by a dedicated family of experienced trainers and mentors.

We offer scholarships for tuition, room, and board based on financial need.

These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of churches and individuals who believe in the mission of church planting. We trust that the Lord will continue to provide for His work through His people.

Statement of Faith

• We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture—that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
• We believe that God is eternally existent in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things.
• We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human—that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins through His substitutionary death on the cross, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and now lives to make intercession for us.
• We believe in the personal, visible, and pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. He will return with His saints and establish an everlasting Kingdom. After His ascension into Heaven, Jesus poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, empowering them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world—a mission still shared by all believers today.
• We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord—trusting Him alone for salvation—they are immediately born again, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and fully forgiven of all their sins.
